Greetings all,

This short notice is due to the heat wave and the fact that my sewing room has been averaging 80° F for the last several days. However, with a possible “cooling” trend in the works, I thought we might make a try for a work party to create some needle and pin cases for Queen Elizabeth to use as largesse during her reign. HL Myrun has donated the wool and thread – we just need hands willing to hem and edge stitch. I have a cutting table, many straight edges, several rotary cutters, several pairs of scissors, and two sewing machines here. You won’t need to bring anything but your hands and your ideas for embellishment since most of the sewing will be handwork.
