Hello all, my girlfriend and I are new to the area (kinda) and would very much like to begin getting more involved with the SCA. Our names are David and Leah, and live in the Everett Mall area. I personally have only attended one event (Junefaire last year) and had a blast. She has been doing it of and on for several years. We are very interested in making some great friends as well as learning lots of different skills. My interests have been in fighting, both heavy as well as Rapier, and trade skills such as Leatherworking (Have little to no knowledge of any of it yet.) Hers is in the bardic arts, perhaps in learning to play lute, mandolin, or harp. We saw that the social meeting is coming up this Tuesday, and we will plan on seeing some friends waiting to be made there. Is there anything that we can bring as guest-gifts?
