It’s time for Bearwood’s Chinese New Year Tea Party. This is the year of the Red Fire Rooster and we are celebrating with foods that are related to either Fire, Red or Rooster (chicken or duck will do).
- Chicken and Pears
- Beet pickled eggs
- Shrimp with peas
- BBQ pork
- Lamb Korma with yellow rice
- Tea eggs
- Tung po duck
- Baby bok choy with ginger dressing
- Soup: either Salmon Sizzling Rice or Hot and Sour and other dishes
Since we have several cooks we will vote for the favorite dish.
This is Bearwood so no one will be allowed to go away hungry. We will have several different Teas to try and period games to play. Bring any handcraft you are working on, I’m sure someone else will be interested and want to talk.
You don’t need to preregister but an RSVP would be nice.
Date: Saturday, Feb 18th. The site opens at 3pm.
