For those who are looking for an on-site activity, we will also be having an Iron Needle contest!  Bring your scissors, a 4" to 6" embroidery hoop, thimble, and anything else you would normally need for hand work (reading glasses, magnifying glass, extra light, etc.)  We will provide fabric, needles, and floss.

Aquaterra Culinary Guild cooking contest

Not a siege cooking contest; I will provide a period recipe and all the ingredients to make it. It will be up to you to interpret the recipe and make a dish as authentic as you can.
The main ingredient will be pork. There will be a beginner and advanced category. Pick up recipe and supplies after Saturday morning court from Baroness Fiamma at my camp (group camp 1 by the river).

Judging of completed entries begins at 3PM. Be prepared to taste and judge each others entries! Winner will be announced at evening court.

Any questions, please contact me at fiammetta@aol.com

question

Is there a family cap for the fees? I am expecting to have 5 adults, 3 of which are new to this, with me for this event. They are all family to me.

Baron Andreu's Birthday party

Greetings All,
To those of you who will be at Boars Hunt this weekend, please stop by my camp by the river and wish me a happy birthday. To celebrate the occasion, I will be smoking and roasting somewhere around a hundred pounds of nice fresh pork, beef brisket, and chickens to share with all. Baroness Fiamma will provide a salad, and a sweet. We will have some good sparkling beverages to wash the smoky goodness down.
If circumstances permit, I would like to have a torchlit dagger tournament sometime during Saturday evening. I will donate a suitable prize. I look forward to seeing you there.

Baron Andreu Reckless

Family caps

I cannot answer officially, but "Family caps" are intended for two parent-types and non-adult children. Not Households, or family-like people.
